Suntech
Co., Ltd. was established in April 1974, in the form of a Japan-US joint
venture corporation, between Takamisawa Electric Company and RELTEC
Corp. (present Marconi Communications) to manufacture and supply gas
tube arresters and other telephone parts.
A
subsidiary company Mitotech was founded as a Suntech乫s manufacturing
division in June 1974. Suntech乫s
SR Gas Tube Arresters developed with the long-term experience and
unceasing effort have been sold not only in the domestic market, but to
all over the world.
In
Year 2000, as Takamisawa transferred the Suntech乫s shares to Nisshin
Electric, Suntech joined Nisshin Corporation Group.
And, Marconi having sold their Suntech乫s shares to Nisshin
Electric in 2003, Suntech was newly born as a genuine Japanese company.
Suntech and Mitotech, as members of Nisshin Corporation Group, have been cooperating in solidarity to further increase our worldwide exposure, by providing the top quality products at reasonable prices, to be able to meet the requirements of the customers in the current ever-progressing information technology society.
