ISO 9001

In February 1995, Nisshin Electric was awarded ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality assurance.
The Company continues to enhance its product quality and fortify its quality assurance systems by pursuing total quality management (TQM) techniques and focusing on gaining customer confidence.

NQAS

In November 1995, the Company received approval for NTT's New Quality Assurance System between first and second parties (NQAS).
NQAS is a quality management system that evaluates the capabilities of potential suppliers and ensures that these suppliers maintain high-quality assurance systems. Using the ISO 9000 series certification as a basic framework, NTT developed the NQAS system to enforce quality function testing, field information management, and compliance with NTT's quality assurance system standards.

In October 1997, Nisshin Electric was awarded ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems.
Devoted to developing a people-friendly, multimedia society while protecting the global environment, the Company continually examines products and their influence on the environment from every angle of waste management-through planning and design to manufacturing processes, materials and parts, and recycling. Furthermore, Nisshin Electric pursues business activities that have minimal negative effects on the environment.
