The NTT Subscriber's Protector, Model No. 6 is available for one-, two- and six-line specifications, as well as for a terminal box. It consists of a No. 6 protecting unit with remote switching function (6PT unit), a No. 6 protecting unit (6P unit) and a No. 6 signal line protecting unit (6PS), and is mainly for installation outside the subscriber's residence. The molded parts made from glass fiber reinforced plastics have superior water-proof and anticorrosion characteristics. The protector for the terminal box is for the outdoor use only.
