The Power Line & Terminal Equipment Protector, NP-16Z-MJ, is a lightning-proof adapter with an integrated 4-conductor modular jack, which combines the functions of a power line surge protector and a communication protector. It is mainly used to protect equipment such as home telephones, cordless telephones, facsimile machines, telephone answering machines, modems, modem integrated telephones and personal computer (laptop, notebook) from abnormally high voltages due to switching surge or lightning surge. By eliminating the potential difference between the communication line and the power line, it prevents damage to communication terminal equipment.
